Lennox Indoor Air Quality Products

As new protocols and standards are put into place by building owners, one major focus is the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) of the building which may have a significant impact on the health of the occupants.  There are three key areas that can help improve the IAQ of a building:  filtration, pollutant reduction, and humidity control. Learn more about Lennox IAQ solutions and how our products can help improve the IAQ of a building.

Our indoor air quality (IAQ) products have been proven to remove some viruses, bacteria, and fungi from the airstream; however, because we have not tested specifically against the COVID-19 virus, we can make no claims as to the efficacy against this specific virus.

Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES)

The newly passed bill is designed to protect the health of at-risk Americans and provide economic stimulus to distressed businesses and industries.

Act for Contractor Tax Relief Under the Payroll Protection Program (PPP)

Last week, the IRS issued guidance that would effectively make PPP funds taxable income by removing deductions and therefore incurring costs that employers would normally not have to pay.  If Congress or the IRS do not act quickly and reverse this misguided ruling, it will mean unnecessary financial strain for HVACR contractors who have received forgivable PPP loans.

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency:

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) developed an initial list of “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” to help State and local officials as they work to protect their communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security. The list can also inform critical infrastructure community decision-making to determine the sectors, sub-sectors, segments, or critical functions that should continue normal operations, appropriately modified to account for Centers for Disease Control (CDC) workforce and customer protection guidance.
